The only downside is that there's so many variations they've come up with, if you have many of their packs, you'll probably have literally 200 additional presets and camera profiles and tone curve adjustments each. The good thing is you still work within LR still tweaking their settings to get it just right, settings you're very familiar with. VSCO do a ton of work, you can see all that they do, except for how they create the camera profiles. I'm not sure what DxO is doing behind the scenes to emulate. It's an impressive amount of effort they put in. They manipulate practically everything in LR to tweak an image. It's cool just to see all the things they touch. VSCO is working on a RAW file (or can) and they create a new camera profile as well as creating a custom tone curve not to mention all the HSL settings are adjusted.

You said $200, I wouldn't pay that but I think I paid closer to $100 USD and it was worth that. But nonetheless DXO is priced right and has quite a few film emulations as well as other ways to edit such as the color leaks.
